SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

Our vision for SEND Provision

At Hawthorn Primary School we believe all children deserve to experience success and all our staff are responsible for delivering this; we are all teachers of children with special needs. Through an inclusive and child centred culture along with a strong partnership between home and school, every child will achieve their potential. If not, we must ask why not.

At Hawthorn we pride ourselves in our inclusive culture. We believe in equal opportunities for all. Our staff are skilled in using a variety of strategies when supporting children with a range of different needs and disabilties. It is important that the links between home and school are stromng so we encourage parents/carers to speak with their child's class teacher or the Inclusion Team with any concerns or queries. Appointments can be made by contacting the school office.

More information can be found in our SEN Policy and Information Report below.
