Places at Hawthorn CP School are allocated by Northamptonshire County Council.
Please follow the links below to request an in year school place or to apply for a new Reception or Secondary school place or if your child has special educational needs or disabilities:
Applications can be made from 10 September 2019 until 15 January 2020 at 5 pm
Applications to transfer to secondary school in September 2020 are now closed.
Places will be allocated to pupils who have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan that names the school as appropriate provision. When there are more applications for places than there are places available, priority will be given in the following order:
I. Children in public care or previously in public care but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, child arrangements order or special guardianship order.
II. Pupils with a brother or sister continuing at the school at the time of admission of the child.
III. Pupils who live closer to the preferred school than any other school.
IV. Other pupils.
Allocation of Places up to PAN - If the admission number is exceeded within any criterion priority will be given to those who live closest to the school.
Tiebreaker - Where there are two or more applications that cannot otherwise be separated a randomiser will be used to decide who is allocated a place.
