Welcome message and starting information

You should now have received an email requesting initial information about your child and your registration for CLASS DOJO.  Messages will be posted on CLASS DOJO for you and your child. Please make sure you register and access this as soon as possible.

REGISTRATION:  You will now have received the document "Reception 2026 - Before your child starts" which includes links to register your child and to provide relevant information.  This document can be found in the document list below.  Please complete all relevant forms by Friday 22nd May at the latest - early responses are always appreciated!

If you already have children at Hawthorn and are using the MCAS App you will now be receiving communication via MCAS.

Important Dates:

Welcome Meeting - Thursday 18th June at 5 pm (parents only please).

In June/July your child will be invited to spend two sessions at the school to meet some of the other Reception children and the class teachers and support staff.

Session 1:  Either Thursday 25th June or Thursday 2nd July

Session 2:  Monday 6th July - morning or afternoon

You will be asked to book your place nearer the time.

Home Visits: Our Early Years teacher will come and visit you and your child in your home during weeks commencing 22 June, 29 June, 6 July or 13 July.  You will be asked to book your spot nearer the time.
