At Hawthorn, we take the safety and wellbeing of the children in our school very seriously and we expect all staff, volunteers, governors and parents to do the same.

The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

MASH is a county wide partnership that supports children and young people in need.

The purpose of the MASH is to make the right decisions for families at the right time. Professionals from a range of organisations work together to keep vulnerable children and young people safe, including:

  • Northamptonshire County Council
  • Northamptonshire Police
  • NHS and health services
  • Probation Service
  • Youth Offending Service
  • East Midlands Ambulance Service
  • Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service
